Large Pistol Primers
« on: July 10, 2009, 09:11:57 AM »
Has anybody got any info on anyplace that has any LP primers in stock?  And doesn't want a $100 a thousand that is!   ::)

In the alternative, does anyone in the metro Atlanta area have a K of CCI LPP's they will trade for a K of Winchester Small Rifle Primers?

Maybe I should just try substituting SRP's for LPP's...  :P ::)

A couple weeks ago I found some Federal large and small pistol primers at a gun store not to far from my home town. If you are interested send me a pm. I am pretty sure the price was 4.50 a box.

Best of luck.  I've been subbing pistol primers in my 45-70 lately.  Just lucked up on 400 magnum large rifle.  Had no problem with pistol in rifle, should work in reverse.

The primer situation is getting a little better here.  One store I was in last night had a very good stock of LRP's and LMRP's.  Not so many of the SRP's or SMRP's, limit was 1,000 primers.  DP
