i have hinted before that i dont like the 4006 and wanted my m65 back. in fact i would take a 4006 as a gift so i could trade it for something usefull like a dead cat. last week spent 10 hrs. and 500 plus rnds doing handgun drills with the s&w m&p in .40. love this gun! the only thing that i miss about the 65 is it was simpler to keep track of how much bang was left in the gun. felt recoil and handling was better than the 4006, mags loaded better, didnt need to slam the mag in the well the get it to lock in. i dont need a full sized auto but if i find a good deal on a m&p ( think i would prefer 9mm ) its coming home. spent a far amount of time with various taurus, glocks, rugers, 1911s, ect. this is the gun that i would recommend hands down. oh vaey simple to take down and clean.
