Possible Danger

Just wanted to WARN folks that there seems to be riders attached to a gun site called Gunshooters Forum....when i try to open the site i keep getting spam ..and then the site shuts down...I had my computer checked out and found that was the problem ...

           I signed on Greybeard without any problems...i don't surf this junk...but someone has put an attachment on one of the gunsites that sends out spam and closes the website out..causing a lot of frustration on my part....I'm not really computer savey.....but it sure is frustrating...

                Just thought i would mention it....is anyone else having a prob w/ this,,, thx Slim
 ps help ... the crap just started to knock me off grey beard also..dang... HELP

There is no telling where you picked it up but your computer is obviously infected with something. It might be a virus, worm, trojan or just malware but you are infected. If you don't know how to fix it yourself you might need to take it to a computer shop to have them do it.

I use AVG and Ad-Aware on my computers to prevent such things. You might try down loading the free versions of both to your computer and see if they can clean if. If not then you'll need a computer shop to do it. Surfing the internet without such protection is certain to get you infected it's just a matter of time.

Also, make sure your Firewall is turned on in addition to the virus protection.
