Fascinating wood on that Mod 71 - very distinctive.

Here's my BLR, chambered in 358 Win along with a couple of Marlin 35 Rems.  It's not wearing a scope right now, but I'll probably change that soon and put an older Leupold 4x on it.  I like the open sights on this rifle, but they are sure getting hard to see, especially in the shadows.

Nice rifles! how do you like the BLR?
I started coyote hunting and have been thinking about a BLR as a stand gun in .243 or 22-250. Used my AR for a while but it's just not my style, set up one of my Contenders with a .204 barrel, I like it and really like the .204 Ruger round but reloads are slow. Lever actions are my favorite to hunt with so the BLR might just be perfect for me.

Those are beauties Salvo, and I love me some Browning leverguns, at least the replica models.

This is my B92 .44, I bought it from an older fellow at a Salt Lake City gun show a few years back. The stock had been stripped and refinished and someone did a superb checkering job. The guns came from Alaska where he said it was "on duty" in a cabin for many years. If guns could talk!
