clay piegons with a turkey
« on: July 13, 2009, 02:39:23 AM »
my dad bought one of those clay piegon throwers awhile back and some family came in so we decided to take them shooting. I grabbed my turkey (the one with the fixed full choke) figured id give it a try. i did preety well i think i went through 50 rounds or so and got around 40 which is better than i ever did with an 870 i used to have. the gun swings preety well without the steel weight in it (although my shoulder would have appreciated it) i think its going to be my go to bird gun this year (after some more practice)
common sense is slowly becoming uncommon

Good shooting. I use a full choke during late pheasant season when the birds get spooky.
