I would bet it was a white male that was laid off and lost his house to foreclosure. I think the suicide rate in that demographic will begin increasing very rapidly.

I remember reading an article a few years ago about a German man who drove into a river because he was following the instructions of his mobile GPS unit. The unit was correct, but required the driver to understand that a ferry needed to be used to cross the river. I kid you not.
