Anyone have any experiance with the IMR White Hots pellets? Saw some at the local hardware store but the owner couldn't tell much about them. IMRs website doesn't have any data posted for them either, just their "new product" ad. How many grains equivilant??

I don't have any first hand experience, but they are reported to be pretty much the same as 777, including the "crud ring". Hodgdon ownd IMR, so I think it is just another attempt at cornering some market. One thing I do like about them is they are in sealed tubes, the 777 and Pyrodex pellets are in an unsealed box. Never did understand their thinking there.

I posted about these back in October of last year IIRC, at that time only a few writers of gun rags had tested them other than Chris Hodgdon and some company on a Texas Hog Hunt.

Thanx fer the links, Busta. Still didn't find any "grains equivilant" anywhere, so I'm going to assume that they are 50 grainers. (But assumptions can get you dead too! )

From the articals you provided links too, I'd be inclined to say, after trying to disregard "gun writers hype" that tends to to crop up with any new product, that they are a fairly good product with a low SD. Which would tend to be good fer accuracy, but I'm not going to run back to the store and grab a box. Because I already get 'minute of kill zone' accuracy from my old Traditions inline, loaded with loose BP.
