Dualing 30-30's
« on: July 13, 2009, 03:00:26 PM »
Don't know where this went when I posted it Sat. but it's out there some where. ???  Took my 30-30 and 30-30 AI that is a 223 ejector rebore/rechamber out for the first time Sat.  Fireformed 20 cases to the AI and was able to bounce a pop can around at 144 yd with it. ;D  Sighted in at 25 yd then started on rocks and the can.  Rocks were at 104 yds and we were hitting them with iron sights on the 30-30. :-*  My friend is all over me to sell him one or the other, told him to just barrow and give it back when he's done.  Should have had them out before, but to many toys, not enough time.  This darn work sure gets in the way of having fun some times, but glad to have a job for sure.  Didn't lose any cases fireforming and they do look nice with the shorter neck and straight walls. ;)  DP

I wouldn't trade my 30-30 Handi for gold ;)
It's probably my best shooting Handi.
