Contender barrel sticks closed

I have a contender with about ten different barrels.  Recently I purchased a super 14 45/70 for it.  I mounted the barrel like any other and continued with boresighting.  All went well.  I removed my boresighter and closed the action..  After closing the action I tried to reopen the action, but it stuck..I removed the foregrip pushed the pin and opened it.  I reinstalled the barrel and opened and closed it 20 times with no issue.  I tried to open it again a little while later and it was stuck again.  None of my other barrels do this.  I have not fired the barrel yet.  why is this one getting stuck?

It could be the bolt and spring in the new barrel.  It should have a two-piece split bolt, if not then get them from T/C and install them in the old barrel.  This is the usual reason a Contender will not open, but I am confused that the problem is intermittent.  When I mount a barrel with the old bolt it never opens without removing the barrel pin and trigger guard.....

BTW, I know exactly how many barrels I have for my Contenders......

I am sure that if I were to shoot it it would stick every time..I will check the bolt thanks

I checked the bolt and spring.  It had the two piece, but it was dirty and not separating well.  I cleaned it up and freed the pieces and it works perfectly every time now.  Thank you very much for your help
