I too have tried scopes on several handguns and although I did get remarkable accuracy they just didn't seem like handguns anymore, heavy, bulky and awkward to carry and quick point shooting was out of the question. Conventional red dots seemed to share all of those negatives plus they had to be turned on and adjusted.
I too have come to love the "tubeless red dots". They weigh next to nothing, are little bulkier than adjustable iron sights, have unlimited eye relief and field of view, provide a sharp, single aiming point with nothing to turn on and off and the gun still handles like an iron sight handgun. If the sight is mounted over the original rear sight location it will still fit many standard holsters perhaps with just a bit of leather trimmed away.
