hunting in MT

Hello to all
enjoy reading all of your posts.
20+ years ago I used to hunt out of Lewistown.
Just had a ball, hunted with some locals that we knew at the time
beautifull country
White tail
mule deer
pronghorn

used to live in Minnesota and we would drive out for a 7-10 day hunt
Moved to AZ in 95, hunting is good here, but it is just to damn hard to get drawn for a tag. weather is great except for summer, has been over 110 for 5 days.

mostly just punch paper now.

Hope to get out again before I get to old.

to all take care and enjoy your great state

Have a cousin  south of Lewistown on Cottonwood Creek . He was over run with deer a few years back . He would just shoot as many as he wanted . Game warden said it was ok as long as he didn't pick them up , one thing lead to another , soon the bears were cleaning up . Got to liking his sheep also . >:(
Thoses were the days ..... ;)
