cast bullets purchasing

ok, where is everyone buying cast bullets ?
the place i was getting my bullets and I had an issue, and they made some changes to thier offerings.
so i went to the FAQ's and went down the list, and looked at the different sites/companies offerings.
 Berry's bullets seems to be the best for me so far, but ...
before i order anything, i want to know where you all are getting your cast bullets, other then pouring your own ?
 for now my focus is semi-wad cutter or keith style 240 grain, lubed .44 mag ( .428 /.429 )

I mostly cast my own but have boughten from most of the bigger companys. My favorite hands down is mt. baldy bullets. Frank believes like me that you get proper bullet hardness from alloying and not water dropping. Most commercial casters water drop there bullets right out of a automatic casting machine. they will try to tell you they do it for your benifit but its there bennifit there conserned with. Casting machine cast fast and dropping bullets onto any hard surface puts dings and dents in them because they are not yet cool enough. Dropping in water cures that problem and is why they do it. What id does that isnt good is make for a brittle bullet and it also allows the casting company to use cheaper alloys and still get hard bullets.

Mostly I cast many of my own, but I have used laser cast and reciently Ranger Ricks for the big 50.

i thought that the list in the 'useful links' was the only ones. but i was wrong. the link on the home page have a bunch of cast bullet companies.

I shoot mostly my own cast these days but if I need something diffrent or odd , I go with Vance Cast Bullets , most of the local shops carry them as well as all the local shows around here .

They shoot well and are very reasonable in price .

And if in doubt , check the main LINKS page , I have loaded it with tons of useful info and plan to add a bunch more as soon as I have a spare couple hours .

yep, i did find a very exhaustive list on the main page. so, i have been looking at cast bullet manufactures now for some time  .
 thanks for pointing me the right direction once again...

 so far, for how i reload and how i buy, hunters supply tops my personal list followed by keads bullets,
but when i do order i may change that..i do need to check out Vance though..
