Found a 45-70 Handi with SN HX296XXX. Does anyone have an idea when it was made?

There's a build year list by serial number prefixes in the FAQs and Help sticky, the best place for H&R newbies to spend lots of time reading.  ;)

Tim is right about the FAQs & Help sticky.
Learn the MFG year list and you will know when any HANDY was made.
Very helpful when out browsing the CANDY SHOPS!  :) ;)


HX was made in 2007
