OK , I know 10 year olds that hunted as safe as anyone and 40 year olds that were a danger . A free people understand this . Subjects must have a law so they know since they can't think for themselves .

Age doesn't equal maturity level. I know 10 year old's that I'd hunt with and 20 year old's that I'd stay away from.

I had a BB gun when I was four but had to get an adult to cock it for me because I hadn't the strength but after a month or two I developed the strength! I knew it was a dangerous item to fool with and I learned to handle it responsibly. By the time I was ten I was hunting with my dad's .22 and soon had my own .410. I'm now 67 and still haven't killed myself or anyone else, incredible as that may seem to the media.

nope not young , the new health bill says don't waste meds on those over 55 or with 2 years to live .

Sheesh there are a lot of folks voting for 16+ and saying that it should be 18 but a 20+% voting no age at all.

Seems like there are better issues for the media to whip up. No doubt this is an effort to forward the prohibition agendas.

Wasn't it their sister NBC that had the special"if I only had a gun" where they staged a class room shooting with college students that were given a paint ball gun and a few minutes training and surprise, surprise they were all shot; and the perp shot them first, one girl shot the perp in the thigh, before he shot her, but it was explained as a non-life threatening wound.
