HillBill,
I cut off as much of the big chunks that I can and remove the eyeballs. I then emerse them in water. I fill the waterline up for the deer skulls just past the top of the skull. nature does the rest. When the water gets real murky, I dump it ouyt leaving a little in it to leave some enzymes. It will eventually just start falling apart. Im telling you know, especially with the deer, it STINKS. I cover my mouth and nose with a rag and still gag, lol.there will be apoint to where no mare of the meat will fall off. I remove it from the water and remove what I can. I then leave it in the hot sun for days. As its drying, I remove the drying pieces of flesh. Gun cleaning picks or dental picks wrork great for getting in the litle holes and bends of the skull. I will no longer put a gloss finish on the deer skulls it seems to turn parts of the skull yellow over time. I have had no probs with the coyote skulls turning yellow though.
