It was a classic to be sure.
Not just for the advice, but for the style in which it was written. In today's political correctness climate, it's rare to find even a gun writer who would use language such as Keith did. It was a different time and place, and I'm not to sure we've evolved into a better species since it was first published.
I got mine as a present back in 1976 and lost it when moving a few years ago. It was one of several older books the movers lost and although I got the money for the loss, you can't just replace a book of that type, that was written when common sense was used to judge things and a man's honor and integrity were actually held in high esteem.
