Trying to get packed and off to Jekyll Island for a few days.  I'll bring my laptop, but may be some what out of touch.  Like tonight for example, I'm going to be busy eating seafood until the crabs start crawling out of my ears!   ;D

Should be back full time Thursday.   ;)

I haven't heard the old enough to be her grandfather but I have heard old enough to be her daddy. :( Getting older sure has it's draw backs sometimes. :'(

 AO  has its drawbacks allright. However I can get away with more "stuff" as well, at least saying them, doing them is another thing alltogether. :(

Heaven forbid!   :o  I got to many skeletons in my closit to EVER run for an elected office!   ::)  And the statute of limitations hasn't expired on some of them!   :-\  'sides, "Elliott's Axiom #3" is "Never involve the elected official"  That's because the only thing the elected official is interested in is... GETTING REELECTED!  BTW, I make my baby prosecutors memorise my 3 axioms, 3 idioms, and 3 T's of trial practice.   ;D

It is for an old dog like me.  I went there after wanting to retire from private practice and because the new incoming Solicitor General asked me to.  Not much pay but it's steady and has benefits and all I have to do is read law and try cases!  Something you never have time to do in private practice.   :(  So it's great fun for me!   ;D

Oh, and I get to brow beat the baby lawyers and lecture them for hours on end!  But it's all for their (professional) good!   :D

But don't ask my opinion of Nancy Grace...  >:(  After all this is a family forum...  :D
