I just got some Mount Baldy 250gr Keith Bullets and I loaded some up yesterday over 2400 and went shooting.  The only lead I have shot is some 240gr SWCBB bullets over 5grs of Bullseye and I got just a little leading at the forcing cone after 20-25rds.  The Mount Baldy's were terrible after 5rds.  It goes from forcing cone to muzzle in smears.  Any ideas as to what's going on?  My load was 17.5grs of 2400 CCI 300 and 250gr Mount Baldy Keith bullets.  I am going to try again today and work up towards 20grs of 2400.


My cylinder throats are .4295" and the bullets are .430, barrel is .429 as best as I can measure the 5 groove barrel.

Suggest you take the rest of the bullets and give them a soak in Lee Liquid Alox before you shoot any more.  Leading is a function of many things; velocity, hardness, condition of barrel and lube.
