weight of a savage 99 ?

I'm about to buy one sight unseen and was wondering the app. weigh It is a 99c model A ,no scope or sling or other add on's in .308 cal.

 ;) I would guess 7to 7 3/4 pounds. They were fairly heavy, at least the ones I have.... ;)

Is it a 99C or a 99A?
I've got one of each so let me know...
the C has a detachable clip, pistol grip and 22 inch barrel... (was .243, now .358)
the A has a streight grip, internal magazine and 20"(?) barrel...  (.308)
