  but he proved less than worthy of his opportunity to make a difference in the unifying of peoples in this country...he was a man i could have voted for,until i saw him shirk this opportunity an what i considered his duty... now he takes the easy politically correct line and is a failure an quitter in my opinion...the man in office is not held to the same measureing stick as
other presidents ,,because he is black...this the worst form of racism...
   worse yet it encourages a double standard in society no different than the civil rights workers of the past said they were working to destroy...
now it seems they were working to PROMOTE EQUAL RIGHTS AS LONG AS THEY WERE A LITTLE MORE EQUAL FOR BLACKS...
 as a prominent black said answering opra winfreys question whether he had a bad attitude..
heck yes   opra..a black man without attitude don t amount to much...of course this brought much applause an opras smiling endorcement...
  i remember her seemed fair attempts,, to interview racist whites...i remember the black educator whos platform was that a black person could not be a racist,,being on her show...
  to the blacks like this i say,,i have black friends...but none with that sour black,, i been done wrong ,tude... its not something i like an immediately allienates me from a black person i might have enjoyed a friendship with, otherwise....to encourage this attitude is to bring the races closer to open breakdown of being able to live togather...also i don t excuse whites who
 accept a double standard as what ought to be ,,since they was done so wrong...
many of the ones that came here to slavery were already  slave tribes to other tribes in mother africa..then sold to portugese slave ships...
  if you want equallity ,,im with you an will fight for it with you... if you think you are owed special treatment..stick it in your ear..i want nothin of you... jmo slim

The problem with blacks as a race is that they have no interest in equality, what they want is superority for blacks over whites and absolutely nothing else will satisfy them. They want to put the white man down as they feel he did to them so long ago when blacks were slaves. Of course they forget that both blacks and whites owned slaves in those days.

I have been friendly to many blacks and some, those who look on themselves merely as people not as black people, I've thought highly of. I've never been friends with a black and don't expect I ever will be. I honestly do not think you can have a two way true friendship with a black these days. To your face they might be all big time friends but behind your back when it's just them and other blacks they'll put you down and talk about you as if you were dirt. It is the only way they can be accepted by other blacks as one of them. Never trust your life to one if it comes down to it and it is other blacks you need to be defended against. If you do you'll find out real fast if that friendship is a two way street or not.

I'd not say that none would pass that test as that's too broad a brush stroke but I'd say darn few would pass the test. If equality were all they wanted I'd be more than willing to give it and in fact they'd have had it generations ago if that were really the goal.

many times ive been ready to just allow myself to write them off forever...
 like during the o.j. thing...the race shamed itself during that fiasco.... speaking  of which,,i saw pics of oj that looked like that man may have lived hard since he got away with his deed...i gotta hope he looks up for redemption before he dies an his existence really goes wrong ,,fo real...

As GB said, you should not paint with too broad a brush, consider how different her view is than the prevailing "Black" view of BHO.

It was the same thing after the Oj trial they cheered all over the country that he beat the rap and they knew he did it!

Now i know that if it had been Joe Montana(or who ever) that had cut his wifes throat white people would have wanted justice not their favorite son  to walk!
