    I originaly planned on doing another article put I dont think that I took enough photo's. Since I am going to be hangin around for a while ,I will give it a go.
    We were unable to determine the rate on the original due to the amount of rust but did rifle it with the same rate as the Ellsworth guns.

Is the copper water jacket double walled, or does the water come in direct contact with the ferrous barrel?

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

There is only a exterior copper tube. The iron barrel has some huge pits.

I'm bringing this back up to the front. Hoping Guardsgunner will bless us with more pictures and information. Like how wide is the wheel base. And how much larger did you make the chamber then the rifling.

   Been trying to write a article as I did with the Ellsworth gun but it just doesnt to want to flow. Perhaps it is because I've been a little under the wheather latly. I will try to get back to it.
  The Dem's. I dont have at hand for the wheel base but the chamber is just all the grooves removed in the rear portion of the barrel.

Though I am still unable to travel, the Hughes gun made the trip to the N-SSA nationals and passed inspection today. It's first match since working out most of the bugs will be tommorow though it is not fully sighted in.
