I just listened to Sgt Crowley address the media whores after his beer with the Pres and Gates.   He is a true American in my opinion.    He spoke truthfully without bashing anyone and didn't give the press any room to snare him.    He is a good example of what is good with Law Enforcement and America.   My hat is off to you!

   I'm sure he would have liked to turn them down Beerbelly, but I'd bet my bottom dollar there was pressure on him from above.

Yes he is, and so is the BLACK SUPERVISOR, who was also there, whom today on NATIONAL TV, stated his FULL SUPPORT OF HIS (Crowley) ARREST of Gates, and told that OTHER BLACKS were calling him an UNCLE TOM.
Whom seems to be the REAL RACIST?

I personally think it was good to go too the invite.
You must almost go or back down.
This young man is a bright individual and his showing up was what was needed.
Keep this in front of the media---they won't report it---but they can't defend it, either.
Seems they have nothing to report.
Who bought the beer? I know, I know. Bet BO bummed the cigs.

Even if he was pressured into it, he looked like the bigger man for doing so. Declining the invitation would have only made him look guilty, and given the media more ammo to hammer him with. IMO he did the right thing all along, proved that he was right, and was man enough to stare down the president to show it.

I think he should have accepted the invite, but only on condition that Obama apologize for essentially calling him stupid.  However, I realize that, that would be a lot to expect from someone who reportedly voted for the Halfreakan.

The Sgt. is a helpful guy. He helped him off the porch to jail also. I'll bet he even opened the patrol car door, and cell door for him.  He is always thoughtful.
