I run a wildlife control business, and when setting cages for raccoons, some of my top baits are Blackie's Fur King ( paste ), Sledge Hammer ( liquid ) and Night Bandit ( liquid ). I don't want cats, and try to avoid other non-targets. That combo - on marshmallows suspended from a wire in the rear of the cage, has performed very well for me. You can catch coons on just about anything. Personally, I want to catch them quickly and reduce the number of trips to the site in a nuisance situation - works for me....
