When was your last visit to the dentist
« on: July 30, 2009, 06:53:08 PM »
Lost a filling and cracked the same molar a while back and put off going to get it fixed.  Teeth do not respond well to neglect and they will get your attention with authority.  As in yesterday amd today :o

Holy Cow an extractioin is about $300.00 and a crown is over $1000.00.  My dentist said he could do much better with a cash price than going thru Ins. or Gov programs where he had to file a claim.

Bottom line, I have no dental coverage, but I got a very good price on a straight deal.  Just goes to show you that if everybody paid it would be cheaper for every one.

My brother worked a deal out to have laser surgery on his eyes, about 10 years ago. It was right around 1/2 of what the doctor normally charged. Cash works wonders!! gypsyman

Oh no, I can see it coming; the next big government super program will be dental care reform.

They may try to make a cashless economy (electronic transfer only) and we will have to resort to barter. Wonder how many live chickens it would take to cover $75 worth of dental work?

They want over a grand to cut out a wisdom tooth.  It is growing in sideways.  Oh well if it gets too bad I know where to find the oragel and knife.

Too late, both dentist and chiropractors are included in this health bill.

Last dental visit was 12-13 + years ago, had a tooth pulled. Dentists, and drs, are for people with good insurance or money, not me. POWDERMAN.   :( :(
