i was looking at getting a H&R 44mag rifle for my wife to deer hunt with this year and was woundering how this guns are and about how much do they cost.

I looked at one for $239 a couple of months ago in OH.

239.00 sounds about right.  Perhaps a little less.   I put one together for a lot less than that, but I had the frame.

Yup that's about right and they make a great deer rifle. Real easy to shoot well. 8)
