:o well I must say that your the only person that I have even come across with such a problem with a CZ 452  ??? if I didn't know better I would suggest that it was the operator and not the gun.

However I will suggest that you contact CZ-America as something is clearly not right. Here in the UK the CZ 452 is about THE most common rimfire rifle in use especially for Rabbiting. The only comment I hear is that the triggers can be gritty but that's an easy fix  ;)

Now back to the CCI ammo............... sorry but the Mini Mags are just not that accurate. In the club I belonged to before moving we had a annual .22 LR competition shot at 200 yards and the idiots would go and buy Mini Mags thinking it would help them due to the hyper velocity however every time they were beaten by someone shooting std velocity ammo. I found it quite amusing especially when it was won one year by a M1 carbine .22 LR copy/clone shooting std ammo but usually it would be a BSA Martini which won it usign std velocity ammo.

I bought my 452 American in 17HMR used from as friend that only shot it a couple of hundred rounds, he told me he had to hold up on the mag to get it to feed and that the trigger was terrible, he bought it new, well I had to heat and bend the follower in the Mag and put a Brooks trigger kit in it and now i have got to glass bed it, the best acc I can get out of it is one and 3/4" every body else gets 1/2" at 100 yards.
so if you buy one except to buy trigger kit, bend the mag Fowler and glass bed it. A lot of work for a new rifle. >:( >:(

That's not very good reasoning Mr. Cooper. I have many friends and acquaintances that own nearly endless numbers of 452s. I personally own four of them. Not one CZ 452 that I've seen, shot, or heard of through others has every had a problem with the mag follower, nor has any "had" to be glass bedded. Not that there couldn't be a problem with a few mags or that accuracy wouldn't be improved by glass bedding, I think it's a pretty big leap to assume that anyone who buys a CZ 452 should "expect" to "have" to follow your advice as a necessity before their 452 will function properly. As far as triggers go, I did get YoDave kits for my 452s, but that was just my preference for a lighter trigger pull and less creep, even though I could have easily learned how to effectively use the stock trigger configuration on each of mine.

Mine is very accurate but it only functions with Remington ammo.  It won't cock, feed, dent the rim, or eject any other brand.

I was thinking of you Swamper when I wrote the above post. I'm not saying every CZ comes from the factory in perfect condition, but wow! There is obviously something wrong with yours. You should send it back to CZ so they can look at it. If it's really that bad, they'll probably send you a brand new rifle; they'll at least fix it so it can use any ammo. Everyone of my CZs will shoot any ammo fed to it. My American had a slight problem with ejecting certain brands of ammo, but I fixed that with a small file by putting a sharper angle on the holder and extractor. I feel bad for you Swamper. If you'd just send that rifle back and get it fixed, you'd probably start liking CZs the same as those Remingtons.
