Fort Pulaski GA, Outside Savannah

Daughter and her Boyfriend made a trip to Savannah Ga this summer.
By my nagging and constant reminders to go to Fort Pulaski they made some pics and a few videos.
Here they are, the video is not real good, they had some young man that constantly made wise cracks and yelled at the guys giving the demonstration. He is very D*#n lucky I wasn't there.

What was the execution called where they straped the convict to the barrel and fired?

Savannah is a beautiful town. I got married by the big fountain in Forsythe Square. Shame that a loud mouth jerk messed up the videos for you.

I have been there, neat place!!

Down the road a piece is Fort McAllister another neat fort.

Fort Pulaski has a lot to look at. Plenty of history there. Fort Jackson is right up the road just a few miles. Jackson has a lot to see also. I live about 85 miles away from them and like to visit every few years.

Didn't Ft. Pulaski get a 30# Parrott from Steen a few years ago?
