It is about power and control, not about prosperity for everyone. It is trickle up poverty, exact opposite of trickle down prosperity. Rich people hire people, rich people provide the jobs, rich people spend more money, can also be applied to rich corporations. Tax the rich and big corporations = less jobs and more dependents on government. More dependents on government = more power for the party in charge which eventually will eliminate all other political parties. Health care is about 15-20% of the total economy, not counting the take over of GM and Chrysler. They want to take over big oil, mining, and utilities also. That doesn't leave much of the economy left for private owners and corporations.
