Re:The guys in Turbans on the Canadian west coast. Yep, they are Sihks a blending of the Muslim and Hindu religion.
At least their temples don't have those turrets with speakers on them, they do wear cermonial swords which at times they use on each other to settle some internal religious issues

BTW One of the most terrifying and rapid taxi rides my wife and I ever enjoyed was in San Fransisco when we needed to get from one of the airports to the other to make a connection. The drivers wore a Turban as many of the other driver did as well and that was many years ago.

That man was an awesome driver and we made the connection.

Re:Open border, well your Admin came up with the Passport requirements not ours. We just don't want a bunch of gun toting Wild West types swarming this place or enjoying our "free" medical services

Last time i was up there the border crossing was a joke , they wanted me to list all handguns i owned .
BTW the passport thing is because of ya'ss lax , non existant security that allows anyone in and out . But then why waste the effort protecting when you have so little worth protecting in the first place ,you betcha , right !

I had 6 guns with me all long guns , they saw i had a CC permit so i said one for work and that was good enough .
I am so sorry i forgot you get GOVT. TV . down here we get all sorts of TV and not all is what the govt wants us to see . The agents collect data on the area they are in and send it home , right ? Well with CNN blabbing all the information they can all around the world any country can save spy funds by just watching CNN and getting everything they need and faster in most cases .

I presume you know that Canadian troops fought in WW I, WW II, Korea,( dunno about Vietnam) and the present conflicts in the ME. Had and still have Peacekeepers in parts of the world. We don't have near the bodies in our country as you have and don't feel we need to be a policeman for the rest of the world.

Personally I am not happy with our immigration policies and numbers either and have just about as much influence on those as probably you do.
