Robert Mitchum movie
« on: August 06, 2009, 05:41:02 PM »
I was trying to find the title of a robert mitchum movie but cant find it.  In the movie he is a ruthless killer and his two sons help him out. There is one particularly chilling scene where they make a family get in the back seat of a car and they just cut em to pieces with shotguns.

From what I remember,he is not smoking any marijuana in the movie.   ;D
Though taken from established manufacturers' sources and presumed to be safe please do not use any load that I have posted. Please reference Hogdon, Lyman, Speer and others as a source of data for your own use.

Was that " A Killer in the Family"? I saw it a long time ago and don't remember it too well, but Mitchum is in jail and his sons get him and his cellmate out, then they go around killing people. Might have been the one you are looking for, but Mitchum played lots of bad guys, so could be another film.

yeah it was A Killer in the Family,  a made for TV but very scary movie.   Mitchum is in prison but convinces his 3 sons to break him out.    He brings along another convict on the escape and they go on a murderous rampage.    I remember watching this movie when it came out in 1983 and I was bothered by the viciousness of the story.
