Can a .45 long colt snap cap be used in single shot rolling/falling block or trapdoor rifles for practicing smooth trigger pulling?

YMMV, depending upon the chambering of the subject single shot rolling/falling block or trapdoor rifles.

I use them in my several .410 shotgun's.

These A-Zoom snap caps are very high qualilty devices, The best I have ever seen. These snap caps are machined, instead of being cast...

So, they're not cheap. The pair I'm looking at, for a 12 ga, cost $10.50 a pair.

You should also be able to order them from Lyman or Brownells too.

I have these snap caps for every caliber of firearm, I have.

Great question   For some unknown reason I wasn't thinking snap caps were made in 45-70   I'll check out the reccommended sites.

If you own both calibers, it is way easier to put a 45 snap cap in a 45/70 than it is to put a 45/70 scap cap into a 45 handgun!

Thanks for the info on Lyman as a potential site, they had A-Zoom in 45-70 and had A-Zoom in 6.8 Remington SPC which I was also wanting.
