Fellers it's hot!!! I finished most of my chores this morning and decided to walk over to the pond and shoot a few turtles before lunch. It's a good 7 minute walk through a trail in the woods (could have road the 4 wheeler but need the exercise).
Plenty of turtles in the pond and it's a never ending battle keeping the numbers down. I shot up about a half a box of 22's in almost 45 minutes. Killed a lot more than I missed which is good. I have been behind in managing their population this year.
Walking home I found a tick on my shirt
so I stopped to have a better look. Found another one on my pants leg
. Thats enough for me, I got to get a shower after that. Good thing too, my cloths were soaked anyway. Found another tick getting in the shower. Can't stand those things they give me the hebee jebee's. I'm gonna have to get a big can of bug spray before going back there.
