From what I have heard and read they fit just fine.

I am thinking about a muzzleloader barrel for my encore and seriously considering the bergara. I was wondering the same thing.

From what I've heard, for the ones that don't lock up real tight, you can return them to the factory and they'll fix them.

I installed a 24" Stainless .30-06 Bergara Encore Barrel on my Stainless Encore frame tonight. Lockup was perfect. When I placed a .005" shim between the barrel and frame I was not able to pull it out, but the action seemed to lock up fine as I was able to cock the hammer and fire it with the shim in place. However when I doubled the thickness of the shim (.010") it appeared as though the locking lugs were not fully engaged as I was unable to cock the hammer.

Granted I haven't fired this barrel as yet but so far I am impressed with it, fit, finish etc.

I've had 8 ot 9 go through my hands ( a couple were mine; others were for sighting-in), and every one had been MOA or better -- often MUCH better, and that includes a few that were fed random factory ammo through new, unbroken-in barrels.

The only area I see where they may be inferior to TC is that the bluing, while more than sufficient, does not have the richness or depth of the TC factory barrels.

But that is of little consequence to me.

Here is a bit of target reference. But don't compare the numbers of the Bergara solely against the Bullberry as the latter fired some of its best groups ever (and that's saying something as this barrel is exceptionally accurate).

The bottom line is that the Bergara AVERAGED 1.199" for 3-shots at 200 yards even though there was absolutely minimal load development involved.

Yes, these were good bullets, and I am certain their match-grade  quality figured prominently in the results. But some of the credit still must go to the barrels themselves.
