I'm back
« on: August 13, 2009, 08:21:55 AM »
Just wanted you guys to know I have gotten back.  4 hunters, 4 Caribou.  Unfortunately did not get the Handi out of the case on this one.  KP went along and took his son, my partner Norm and I made up the four.  Have posted my part on the Alaska forum, but KP will have to load the pictures, and tell his story.  Give him some time to sleep and get over the hard job of skinning and loading.  Let's just say it is good.  Rog

Wonderful, wish I could have been with you.  On your other post you mentioned nasty weather.  Ours has been the same, lots of rain.  40 degrees two days ago and 44 this morning......not too far away from snow in August, and we've seen that.

Sometime, in your annual migration, stop in here on Michigan's Upper Peninsula and teach us how to take care of Tall Coyotes.

I always enjoy your posts.  Thank You.

OK, heres a picture of my caribou.  KP has not had time to post his part of the story.  Rog

The rest is on the Alaska forum.  This is my biggest Caribou yet.  I'm having this guy's rack professionally mounted in the velvet.

Congrats on a beautiful trophy! I'd have to admit that I'm a little jealous myself. :)
