Edit:  Oops, I forgot to list my favorite rifle.  That would be my Weatherby Mk V in .257 Weatherby Magnum.....this month.  Last month it was my 1981-vintage CAR-15....

My Brother-n-law has a Custom KlineGunther in 300 Win. , and another in 375 Win. ,  But my fovorite gun in my experience was a 416 Custom that a friend in Ga. has. NOW THAT'S A HOOT!! I am in a wheelchair and None of these guns even give me a sore arm or anything. VERY LOUD THOUGH ( even with ear plugd in and Muffs over them).

I  myself am not too far from a wheel chair being crippled up with arthritis . Yes my winchester 300 Wm will be ridin' along too and so slowly goes the ATV.
It is not that one can no longer go hunting , just a matter of how things could get done .

My favorite of all time was the 1927 vintage Griffin and Howe Springfield that I once owned and cherished, and would still be shooting and hunting with today had it not met its demise in the wildfire that burned down the family hunting camp.

Favorite big bore is my CZ 550 Safari in .375 H&H magnum.  That's only because I don't have the jack in my jeans to pony up for an Evans double in .470 Nitro.

Since this is the bolt action forum, my current favorite bolt action is my Savage Model 10 in .243.  It is the most accurate hunting rifle I've ever owned and also the least finicky with respect to diet.
