Hello all!!

Thanx for the worm welcome. No shooting for today its pouring rain :'( I took my handi apart last night to clean it and noticed the butstock was very hevy, took the recoile pad off and there was a pice of 3/4" bar stock 8" long and it must be 1.5lbs took that out and I must say the rifle feels way better to me and is more balanced. These handis just get better and better.
Hopefully have a rang report on tuesday, I also reload so i will let you know what loads work best ;D

Finally got to shoot my Handi!! Very pleased 1.5" groups and got the barrel broke in. I sited it using a tree for a rest so i'm very confident that i can shrink those groups by half using the bench. I never did any work on the gun (free floating the barrel ect.) shoots great out of the box :) the onaly thing it dosent like is a hot barrel 5" groups after 4 shots.

Oh come on Tim, black bears are varmints where Holden and I live.

Holden, welcome to the loony bin.  Hang on to your wallet and your wife.  You'll be buying more Handis.  Just a tip, buy them so they all look the same. Keep movin em around and she'll never know.  I learned that from a lot of veterans here.....it works;D ;D ;D

I've got the same rifle, and it does shoot.  Good luck with it.

Pete
