That is just plain stupid. Although here is what the news story says in reguards to it.
Croydon council in south London runs separate one-and-a half-hour swimming sessions for Muslim men and women every Saturday and Sunday at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre.

So really what it does is force other non Muslim people out of the pool for an hour and a half while the Muzzies get in their swim time. Dale

In the past, everyone coming to this country assimilated.  Now we have the Mexicans and the Muslims that are refusing to do that.  They want to come here and change us to their culture.

Aw look for goodness sake.  If they want to swim all covered up that is their business.  Personally I think that burquinis would add a lot of weight to someone swimming and it might drag them down - again, their business.  I also feel that a 'head to toe' outfit like that would hide a lot of 'evils' you may not wish to see 'floatin' around a public pool, but that is the pool's business they may have to clean up.

I think the way to get around the whole thing is to just make the public pools 'nude optional' and see what happens................just a thougt..........

Most ethnic groups do not complete assimulate. After all what is american culture. It is made up of lots of people groups. As has already been pointed out " china towns " don't assimulate. Yet we don't complaine about them because were used to them. It's the new ones we notice.

For me, the most offensive thing is refusing to learn our language. When I used to travel in Mexico I expected to speak some spanish. When they come to america I expect them to become conversational in english.

Good gravy! How many islamic standards for women's apparel are there? Some places the women are so covered up they look like black haystacks with gauze eye holes. Other places they wear stuff like in the first link where it's basically lavender cross-dresser beachwear. It looks like a total scam to me.
