We've been getting pretty good amounts of rain the last 2 or 3 weeks ( its sprinkling now) and everything is still nice and green. Around here (southern Ohio) at this time of year things are usually turning brown from lack of rain, but this year it looks like its june instead of august. Took the family up north (125 miles) for a family reunion last weekend and they were more on par with what august usually is. Things are still green there, but you can see the colors starting to fade a lot more. I guess they are a couple of inches short of where we are in the rain fall. The river isn't low, but my pond is, but I think that has a lot more to do with the fact that the dam has way to many trees growing on it and some water is lost because of seepage. Worm
