Going thru the threads, was just wondering if anyone has ordered from
Cannon Thunder, looks like some prety cool stuff on his site?

The one plus thing I saw visiting that website is that he his using 4140, other wise he doesn't have a lot of understanding about what a cannon or mortar looks like or the safety standards for building replica cannon; chamber walls to thin, trunnions to small...

Hello,
I was just surfing the net, and was pretty amazed at all the cannon equipment.
I used to have a 75 cal replica cannon, looked lke the Napoleon style. It had 14 in wheels
and weighed about 30 pounds. I loved it but in a weak moment traded it off for a gun.

I was looking at Dominicks site and fell in love with his mortar that shoots golf balls.
I ordered it yesterday after talking to Dominick, can't wait.

Xflash welcome to the family. Just keep the questions coming.  I learn so much from the people here and not just about safety (which is job 1) but also about the types and history of artillery.

But now for a simple observation.  Between Brooks-USA and Dom we need to start the PMGA.  Professional Mortar Golfers Association.  Our family now proudly boasts one of each from Dom and Irish.  Now I want to hook up a platform to the back of a golf cart put the mortars on the platform and drive around the course asking people if they mind if we play through. 

I know putting could be a real problem but I figured we could use the firecracker cannons for the short game.
