I took the trigger assy apart on mine and stoned the mating surfaces on the trigger/sear. I noticed the mating edges were not square, parts looked like stamped steel and had the bevel on the surfaces from the punch operation, I squared both surfaces and smoothed the mating surfaces. I did NOT change the angle of trigger/sear it was the the edges that slide past each other when the sear is tripped that I cleaned up. Trigger is smoother and the "catch" just before trigger releases is gone. Don't do it yourself and don't spend much money on it; the assy is a real nuisance, there isn't any adjustment to do beyond smoothing the surfaces and the improvement from that is pretty minimal for the investment. I like my 340 because it's a 22 Hornet, not because it's a 340.
