Shotgun firing pins
« on: August 20, 2009, 02:09:12 PM »
Which Handi shotguns  have the small firing pins? Can the large pins be bushed down to the smaller size? I know some gunsmiths used to bush the pin holes on old guns that had wallowed out the holes in the receivers .Thinking of a low pressure centerfire stub project

Dont tell anyone but I use a shotgun frame with the large firing pin on my 218 Bee.  I also reload my bee on the high end of the chart.  Not saying its right but I do it without problems.

H&R uses the shotgun frames on the low pressure 38 and 44 rifles with no ill effect.  Larry
A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

Larry, do you have a clue if they'll hold up to a .445 Super Mag?

Thanks for the answers!
 Now another question :
Will the stocks from a Model 48 work on a SB1 or 2 receiver? Looked in the FAQ but did not see anything
thanks
