.17 HMR (purchased new, now has lami wood)

.204 (factory rebarreled Ultra from a .30-06 originally)

Zero extra barrels; all have variable power scopes mounted
Looking at this list, all but one have laminated wood; a couple have thumbhole stocks. 2 of 6 were purchased new. Looks like six is the current total.

Just bought my first one 3 days ago and sighted in the scope this morning. It's a .223 Ultra Varmint and I liked it so much that my only problem is trying to decide between adding a 45-70 barrel to this frame or buying the 45-70 buffalo classic! BTW, The info on this site has already been a great help.

1 243 cyn lam th, 1 308 hb with choate varmit ,1 20ga with pallet wood,1 youth versa pak 22and 410,1 45-70 bc,1 25-06 pallet wood and 204 hb, 223hb, 243hb,338-06,12ga tracker,12ga mod ,500s&w ,410 mod,20 mod so that =6 frames and 10 barrels. Had about ten more barrel frames but went liquid and thinned out the safe some months back

Side note, It amazed me how much OLDER my brothers and sister looked since the last time we were together. Of course me being the oldest (in years) I looked the Youngest (must be the Handi life).

The only number that surprises me is the 176 extra barrels. I would have thought it would have been higher. I hope the powers at Remington take notice. The folks here take this seriously and know what they are talking about and have actually put there hard earned$ up for more than a few of these guns. It doesn't take a genius to realize the value of this forum for marketing and R&D. They should cut Bill a big FAT check.

Don't need a calculator, it's just getting harder to keep track of which barrels have been added to a frame and which are still homeless!
I unloaded the Handy safe once already to check and really don't want to do it again.
They all fit in there fine the first time!!! $:-\$

I know what its like to liquidate a few handi rifles...did it my self and regret it everytime....ha!
Some Ive let go :SS 223...270...7mm08.... BC45-120...338-06.... 30-06...45-70...BC45-70...THERE IS NO CURE! IM IN RELAPSE NOW! Back to growing the herd. The Encore only slowed me down a few months...

I just did some quick calculations and this bunch of Handiholics have about a quarter million ($250,000) plus in Handi's and extra barrels, not counting sights, scope rails and scopes, and replacemnet and upgraded stocks. That works out to an average of about $1,940 per Handiholic. I believe with the added value of upgraded stocks, sights, scopes and scope rails, and other H&R items brings the average Graybeard Outdoors Handirifle owner to an average value point of about $2,000 each. Not your average bear!!!....<><....

WOW, I didn't need to hear or see that on paper!!! Least of all considering most of mine wear Leupold 2X7's @ at least $200-250 EACH!!!

I also need to add my Sidekick .50cal to that list... It wears a Burris 1.5x5 Signature scope... The day I cash in, SOMEBODY's gonna have there hands full... of handi's.
