I'm brand new here and I already have 4, the latest is in 44 Mag, the box said SB1, the barrel says SB2, soon I will figure this all out

That's easy xpilot, the barrels are made months before they're fitted to a frame, all centerfire rifle barrels used to come on SB2 frames, hence the SB2 marking, they started putting the 357 and 44 mags on SB1 frames about 3yrs ago, they've (Marlin) apparently has never changed their roll marking tooling to eliminate the SB2 markling, so now the barrels are marked SB2 but they're on SB1 frames by H&R in Ilion, confusing, but pretty much what's happening.

I decided to only have complete guns but somehow I now have 2 extra barrels, 270 Win and a 20 ga 22" . I don't understand how this happened?!? So 10 complete guns and 2 lonely barrels, I guess I will be watchin' the classifieds. Glad I sold my extra stock sets and receivers.

I have one sb1 frame with a muzzleloader barrel, a rifled 20 gauge barrel, a 12 guage barrel with three screw in chokes. Would like to get either a 357mag or 44mag barrel to add to the family.

Just one Handi. a Stainless/Syn in 30/06 w/ejector. Topped with a Burris 3x9 in Zee rings. Very accurate and 100% reliable. This rifle is 4 for 4 on whitetails including a nice 9-pointer.

Hello guys, sorry about not keeping this up to date more often.
I have not been doing very good lately and only been on a few minutes when I do get on.
Procedures and therapy seems to make a fellow too tired for the good things in life.

I do see we have alot of new names here, that is good to see.

Well since the last time I posted in this thread I've picked up a 17 m2, 22 mag, 270, 30-30, and a 357.
Someone early in the thread had mentioned how addictive this things are.
My BC 45-70 is still my favorite, but all the others get range time also.
