Muck boots

Have anyone used the muck boots?

I got a pr. from bass pro the other day and they where about $100.

they calm to be good for a  temp range from 70 to -40 degrees.
 what do you all think about them?

I have a pair of Muck shoes. I like them except my feet tend to get a little "clammy" in them after a while. I do have fairly "sweaty" feet and don't feel that I would wear them for extended periods of time in cold weather.

Someone on here said they worked well on wide feet.  I wear 10 EE and have trouble finding rubber boots I can get my feet into.  Any opinion?

 I also have a 10.5 x EE foot and Muck boots are the only rubber boot thats fits me. As for sweating feet, any rubber insulated boot will cause your feet to sweat if you walk very far. Remember COTTON KILLS, wear polypro socks against your feet then wool. My Mucks are insulated for cold wet weather use and I will buy another pair if these ever wear out.

I also have a pr. I wont wear them in the real cold weather but in the wet earlier part of the season they are great, I wear a over the calf NYLON sock on my feet when wearing them to aid in putting them on and off it helps them slide thru the ankle area of the boot, as far as how cold to wear them it is something someone will have to try as some peoples feet dont get as cold as mine do.   Jim

Thanks for the info on the wide size.  Many of my rubber boots have been little more than the boot portion of old waders with the upper part cut off.  Last year I tried on two different pair and both had dry rotted and cracked.  In the market and will look into Mucks.

Do you do anything to them in the off season to keep them from cracking?  Do you store them in a bag?  I've been told that ozone is a culprit.

 I have had them for years and LOVE them!!  Clammy/sweaty feet in warmer weather DEFINEATLY!!  I will not wear them if I have far to walk as they do not really have allot of support. On work days when it snows, they are GREAT to keep your nice shoes clean.
 Got a pair for the wife for this very purpose. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

today is the first time I had them on in the field. while scouthing
they where very comfy, fairly quiet.  as my ancle moved while on the hills  so did the boot so there was no pinching

They last forever!  I have a pair that I bought 6 years ago and I wear them alot,  I like them alot.

I was literally scrolling down to say the same thing. ;D


 I wear mine EVERYWHERE when it's not summer. Easily the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Heck I stepped on a nail hunting with mine 3 or 4 years back and they still don't leak!
