Hello Montana
« on: August 22, 2009, 04:20:49 AM »
Been pretty quiet over here.  Just wanted to say Hi, and say I keep an eye out to see what my neighbors over here are doing.  Wishing all of you good luck this season.  It won't be long now...

I just finished watching Lonesome Dove again and find it humorous that Blue Duck would come to Montana...  :D

It has been quiet here. I think most of us are busy getting ready for hunting season which is just around the corner. I know I've been reloading, shooting, going over gear, spending time in the woods/scouting and still getting some fishing in. Pretty much what I do all year, just more of it this time of year.  ;D

Can't stay away.    By the way, thats where I got the handle.  When Lonesome Dove first came out, I was on a duck hunting web site and needed a username.  I picked Blue Duck and it stuck.  As time went on, I read the rest of the books in that series by McMurtrey.  If I had read the series first, I doubt Id have picked that handle...

Was out Bow hunting Antelope last night and this AM.  No luck, but as always, it's great to be out.  Took a few pictures that I thought you folks might enjoy.  There were several hundred Canadian geese in the same field as the antelope -- sorry for the poor picture.

Good pictures Paul, I had an awesome time out hunting this last weekend, and will be back at it again this next weekend unless my partner has other plans.
