Anyone tried the QuickShot?
« on: August 22, 2009, 07:26:48 PM »
Has anyone tried out the Mueller QuickShot red dot?  Curious as I have several of their opitics and am very happy with all of them.  I would kind of like to try out a reflex sight like this on a few of my hunting handguns.  If anyone has used it let me known what you think.

Thanks,

Wolfgang

Really?  Of all you guys nobody has tried one of these?  Ok, how about anything similar excluding the normal red dots with the tubes.  I don't want to spend a ton of money but I don't want the thing to self destruct when touching off 44 mag or heavy 45 Colt loads.  My eyes are cetainly not what they used to be and I would like another option aside from scopes which I have mounted on some of my handguns.  I have had good luck with the three Mueller scopes that I have and they are a GBO sponsor which makes me even more interested in their product.  Let me know some of your thoughts.

I chickened out.  I couldn't find anything on them other than on some bowhunting site.  I ended up with a Burris Fast Fire II.  Got it mounted up on my 629 this weekend after modifing the scope base to my liking.  Got to shoot it a little today and I really like it.  Small, light and quick to pick up.  Not sighted in quite to my liking yet but close.
