H&R Handi Rifle Included Scope

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum, and new to shooting centerfire rifles.  I just bought a H&R Handi Rifle from Dicks.
It is a .223 with synthetic camo stock, and it came with a 4x12x40mm scope. The scope has no name on it. The instruction book that came with the scope just says riflescope instructions. Does anyone know what brand of scope came with this gun? The gun is model number sb2-d23.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome! The scopes are made offshore by the same OEM as Remington scoped combo offerings, but they can't tell up who makes them, one member reported the turret markings reversed, left is right and up is down, scopes on scoped combos are typically entry level quality optics, FWIW.

 I got the same scope on my 308. Tim already mentioned the backwards turret markings, also eye relief is minimal. IMHO put a good scope on it.

 Only ever been scoped once, The very first time i shot my 12ga sulg gun and it didn,t break the skin. I learn quick !
