In the movie "Notting Hill" there is a segment where Hugh Grant is dating in an attempt to put Julia Roberts behind him.  One girl he dates describes herself as a "FRUITOPIAN" - someone that does not eat anything that has been killed.  And yes - her carrots had been pulled out of the ground so in her opinion they had been murdered and she would not eat them.

Who comes up with that stuff?  Are there people on this planet that really think that way?  I suppose so. 

As evidence...I saw a video of people sitting in a forest weeping for the trees...decrying the loggers cutting of old growth forests, wailing and sobbing over the trees!  Come On Man!  That just isn't right.  Of course every one of them was dressed in Land's End merchandise as if that didn't kill a tree or two to make.

I am all about Preserving the Manatee...in tightly sealed zip locked baggies

I know a guy that is a vegan. He won't eat anything with a face. No meat of course but also no chicken, fish or any kind of animal.

If God didn't intend for us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them taste like MEAT!




A vegetarian does not eat meat but may eat dairy (milk/cheese)
A vegan eats no animal products at all



BTW I LOOOOVVVVEEEEE MEAT
but my daughter is a vegan(not all preachy though)

As kids age, they learn that meat tastes pretty good.  A chicken breast here, a fish filet there, and the next thing you know, they are eating deer sausage and backstrap with the rest of us.

What torques me with these people is that they are telling me what I should eat but get unglued if I tell them what they should eat.

If we weren't meant to eat meat, then why do we have canines and sharp incisors?  Don't need those to eat lettuce.   ::)
