I know the T-bone the symbol of what a steak ought to look like, but personally I find nothing more appetizing in the way of red meat than a good corn fed venison. And for burgers-- nobody believes me, and it is exotic-- but ground mouflon sheep is fabulous when made into patties and slowly fried in olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. Ground lamb is almost as good.

Yep. It's state fair time. Wrap it in bacon, batter it, deep fry it, wrap it in bacon atain, roll it in bread crumbs and fry once more, then wrap it and fry it again. Then dip it in melted cheese and eat it.

The sheep burgers are very lean, and the only fat is that bit of olive oil for frying it. It's not greasy at all. I don't like greasy food. The flavor of the olive oil really brings out the flavor of the meat.

I didn't say anything about deep frying it.  Cooked over charcoal.  Can't stand melted cheese.  BTW, I don't know if olive oil brings out the flavor of meat, but it sure brings out the flavor of olive oil (not a big fan, but my wife likes using it).

Are you talking about doing all that frying to a t-bone?  Pics of one done that way?  I'm up to try about any thing but I want to see a thrice-fried, wrapped and coated t-bone before I try to cook that way.

Nothing quite like a well-marbled Angus heifer, I can smell her grilling right now.
How could you smell that and want to go vegetarian unless you're just not right in the head?

I know a couple of vegetarians. Actually one vegetarian and one vegan, whatever the difference is. One did it mostly for health reasons and the other one just started getting grossed out by eating meat.

So Yes there is something wrong with them. ;D

They do not preach though. I wouldn't hang with those people.
