Powder scoop
« on: August 27, 2009, 04:49:12 AM »
Anyone evr tried this? I took a Lyman powder scoop and installed two thick plastic shims in the bottom to make a 35 grain powder scoop for my C&B pistol. I haven't tried it on the pistol yet, but used it in my powder measure and it seems to be pretty consistant. Sure beats having to measure out the powder than pouring it into the pistol. Was wondering also if maybe Lyman had scoops that you could buy just for measuring black powder? Worm

No, they don't but Lee does. They make a nice set with a bunch of sizes in it, and a chart for smokeless and black.
